Profhilo

Profhilo the revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid treatment

Profhilo is a revolutionary patented injectable skin remodelling treatment that can restore the youth of your skin.  This is why its a cult treatment, with celebrities going crazy for it!

This revolutionary patented injectable skin remodelling treatment distributed by HA Derma and manufactured in Italy by IBSA.  It is unique as it contains the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid on the market,  (64mg/2ml).

This injectable moisturising procedure is ground-breaking because hyaluronic acid is injected “beneath the skin.”  It is, specially formulated for people whose skin lacks volume and elasticity.  The slow-releasing of hyaluronic acid in Profhilo stimulate collagen and elastin for an extended period of time, which also draws water into the skin’s deeper layers. The tissue is significantly lifted and tightened as a result of the stimulation.

Profhilo supports the “youthfulness of the tissue” regeneration process. It revitalises and moisturises the skin while remodelling sagging and aged skin.

The recommended regimen involves having two visits spaced a month apart.  The hyaluronic acid is injected into ten specific parts of the face.

It is applicable to the neck, hands, décolletage and body areas.  The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the hands where it would effectively treat skin laxity.

What is Profhilo treatment?

This hyaluronic acid injectable treats skin laxity. It is a remodelling procedure that can be applied to the hands, face, neck, and décolletage. Scars in the treated area might also look better because to its application.

As we age, our bodies manufacture less hyaluronic acid and dryness, wrinkles, and sagging skin can result from this. A new injectable procedure called Profhilo can help to lessen the appearance of ageing skin.

Profhilo is made of a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid that are thermally linked it differs from other skin boosters. It can therefore be injected into the skin without resulting in injury or discomfort. It can readily be absorbed by the skin, which leads to better results.

What benefits does Profhilo offer?

Profhilo offers a number of benefits, such as:

Profhilo Frequently Asked Questions

Hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic, meaning it draws and holds water in the area of the injection.

Therefore, Profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. This makes it fantastic for those with tired, dull-looking skin; transforming it into a firm and luminous skin.

It takes the procedure about 30 minutes.  It needs two visits spaced one month apart. A maintenance treatment is suggested in three to six months to boost the results.

You will notice the improvement in your skin quality within 3-5 days of treatment.

Over the next few weeks, collagen and elastin production is stimulated, producing a secondary effect of skin tightening. This is useful because levels of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid in the skin rapidly decline from the age of 30, resulting in signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, and lacklustre skin.

The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen 2 to 3 months after the second treatment.  The treatment lasts for around 6 months, and two treatments are recommended, though this will vary from person to person.

There is no correct answer to this, everyone ages differently.  Their skin will have different needs and preferences.  I belive the best age for Profhilo is early 30s. This is when most people start to see the first signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles.

Profhilo can help to plump and hydrate the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance. If you are younger than 30 or older than 60, you may still be able to benefit from Profhilo.  I’m happy to advise you of your individual skin needs.

Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface. Upon injection, it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration without any need for massage or the risk of leaving lumps or nodules. Hyaluronic acid is a completely natural skin substance, it blends into the skin seamlessly and distributes itself evenly.  There is little to no down time, that said it is best not to wear any make up for the rest of the day.

A single course of Profhilo makes the skin glow, fine lines may disappear and you may notice smoother and tighter skin. A course of two treatments can be repeated every four to six months as needed to maintain the results or as recommended during your consultation.

Profhilo is commonly used for the face but can also be used to treat the neck and hands.  Profhilo Body areas include the knees, underarms and chest.

Yes, you can have Profhilo and Botox together. In fact, many people choose to combine these two treatments to achieve a more complete rejuvenation of their skin. Profhilo can help to improve the texture and overall appearance of the skin, while Botox can help to smooth out any dynamic wrinkles.

While Profhilo treatment is an injectable, it doesn’t affect the contours of the face like dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are made to correct the loss of volume and refine the facial shape.  Profhilo is designed to improve the quality of skin without changing the facial contours.

The treatment has a high margin of safety, however there can be some side effects. It is possible to have some bruising or swelling at the injection site. Other side effects might include temporary redness and itching.

It is very rare to have a vascular event if a blood vessel were to become blocked.  If this were to happen, Profhilo can be dissolved in the same way as hyaluronic acid dermal filler.

It is important to only receive Profhilo injections from a licensed and experienced professional who has been trained by HA Derma.

The treatment costs £250 per session.  To Book
